TV series meme

Today it's a TV meme. There are several versions of this around; this one's from mraltariel and communicator, I think.

Name a TV series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
You know, I can't think of any. I own a lot of series I've seen all of, but I haven't rewatched any of them in their entirety again, instead tending to dip in and watch my favourite eps. I'm just not that organised.
Wait. After filling in another question, I realise there is one: From the Earth to the Moon.

Name a (current) show you can't miss:
Lost. I know a lot of people gave up on it during the really slow and boring bit (and Jack is still boring), but I really want to know what's happening / has happened, and they pack a lot into each ep these days. It was worth sticking with it through the bad patch (though I mainly did because it's Greg's big fandom). It's back on in a week or so.

Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Ian Richardson. Diana Rigg.

Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
James Nesbitt. Also Marc Warren, though I didn't actually mind him in that Doctor Who story Love and Monsters. He annoyed me a lot as Danny in Hustle, but I loved the series anyway.

Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
Blake's 7. "I have a weak chest"  and "That makes it all worthwhile" among many others.

Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Glee, it seems.

Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Lots! Red Dwarf, Blackadder, and even themes that don't have lyrics like those of Farscape and Jeeves and Wooster.

Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
From the Earth to the Moon. It's a series of dramas about the Apollo missions. Each episode covered a different mission or aspect, and had a completely different feel with different writers and directors. It's wonderful, and I think would please most of you.

Name a TV series you own:
Lots! Blake's 7, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Black Books, Farscape, Babylon 5, and the list goes on and on. I have so many I'm not sure when I'll get round to watching them.

What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
I'm not sure I have a favourite series. I know I mostly write for Blake's 7, but feeling the need to write fanfic is a subset of loving a series. There are ones like A Peculiar Practice, The Beiderbecke Affair (and its sequels), and Jeeves and Wooster which were the bright, shining spots in my week.

A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't got around to yet:
West Wing. I have the first season, so I have no excuse except time. Also Buffy, which I've only seen a couple of seasons of so far.

Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
Oh yes. Andromeda, Enterprise, Torchwood, BSG, Heroes...

Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
Dexter, most police series, all reality and talk shows.

Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
Babylon 5 and Farscape made me cry at least once anyway.

Oldest TV show you like?
The Avengers, I think. I first saw Doctor Who in the Fourth Doctor's era, and I think The Avengers came first. Emma Peel rocks. I own the B&W eps, but I need to get hold of the rest.

Newest TV show you like?
I think that's Glee. We seem fairly up-to-date with that here and we're actually watching that free-to-air.

What do you eat when you watch TV?
My dinner at the start.

How often do you watch TV?
If you're including DVDs and stuff recorded on the TiVo or Sky Box, every night.

Do you have a favourite talk show?
No. I don't watch them.

What's the last TV show you watched?
NCS. After I asked for some recs, we decided to try this. We're in season 1 and so far so good, except for the autopsies. I'd like a lot more Abby and Ducky though.

What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
Comedy or comedy-drama.

What's your least favourite genre of TV?
Horror, reality and talk shows.

What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
I was very involved with Babylon 5 when it was shown here, and that got me on line and into discussion groups and meeting other fans (once in RL), reading JMS's comments etc.

What TV show do you wish you never watched?
None, because I either stopped when I didn't like what I saw, or enjoyed the show up to the point at which it jumped the shark for me.

What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Telegoons, I think it was called. It was a televised version of The Goon Show (an ancient British radio series) which I saw when I was about 8 or 9 (I remember having to fight for that channel when my sister wanted to see a western at the same time) and the scene that sticks is them trapping the entire Japanese Army up a tree, then digging up the tree and taking it away on a truck. I've seen other weird ones since like Ren and Stimpy, but that one has to be the weirdest. I believe it failed because it was so hard to translate the insane anarchy of the Goons to a visual medium, but I wonder if they did the episode in which the British towed Britain out into the Atlantic and left a life-sized cardboard replica in its place for the Germans to bomb.

What TV show scared you the most?
Probably Doctor Who. Yeah, along with every other kid. I was actually a lot more scared by some of the books I read because my imagination was worse than what they put on screen in those days.

What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
I'm hopeless at picking favourites of any sort, except maybe characters. Porridge, Blackadder, Black Books? I remember one sketch from Alas Smith and Jones (Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones) made me laugh so much I was in helpless pain.

Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?
Once again, I can't answer that. I like different series for different reasons.
